Overnight Oats

Serves 2 - (Each serving contains approx 193 kcal)

Overnight Oats
The Ingredients

45g rolled oats (or steel cut)

120ml low fat milk – i.e. 1% fat milk

60g low fat/3% fat  greek style natural yogurt

70g mixed berries or preferred fruit (fresh or frozen)

1 tablespoon chopped nuts

1 pinch of cinnamon

1/4 teaspoon vanilla

2 teaspoons honey

 

The Method

Mix ingredients in a bowl or tupperware container

Cover with clingfilm or lid

Refrigerate for at least 3 hours or overnight before eating to soften oats

Store up to 6 days or freeze in containers for later consumption

Thaw frozen containers overnight in the refrigerate or in the microwave for 1- 2 minutes
